Been awhile. Sorry folks! Been dealing with work drama, and what a drama llama it is.
I really hate it. A lot. Still looking for something else.
This week was going ok, until office manager who hates me decided to start paying attention to me again. My managers were both gone for the day, so I was the only one in our little office. 10am rolled around and I decided to take my break. I usually drive to the store, so I gathered my stuff up and left--as I've done in the past. OMFH (office manager from hell) was out back, smoking, and I smiled and went to my car. While I was at the store, I got a phone call from the General Manager (!!) asking where I was. Needless to say, I was confused. I told him I was on my break and would be right back. I put two and two together, knowing OMFH had ran inside and told him, "OMG! She left! What's she think she's doing!" I have one word to say to that:
voicemail
If that wasn't bad enough, we recently got a new time clock for the computer that allows us to punch in and out. I found out about this yesterday. Nice, huh? So one of the payroll girls came in to show me how it worked. She punched me in, I asked if I should punch out, and she said no, it was fine. My boss then told me to start using the time clock next Monday. All was right with the world until OMFH stormed in today and said, "There's a lot wrong with your time card. You need to get it straightened out and get it back to me." I just stared at her--totally confused--and pissed off. I mean, gee, thanks for telling me we EVEN HAD ONE!
Really, I just wanted to tell her to fuck off. I mean, I go out of my way to avoid her, but she gets a hair up her ass and looks for reasons to give me a bad time. I'm starting to document it all--if they fire me or I finally get sick of it and quit, I can probably get unemployment for hostile work environment--because I totally feel like that right now.
*sighs* I keep telling myself to hold out through the winter, then get a job in Ag somewhere...
I doubt I'll make it that long.
