Meanwhile...
The RP is still eating my brain. So much fun. Sometimes I find myself just laughing at the craziness of it all. It all started with a livejournal...now there are fifty of them...and everyday some sort of new insanity. I've actually taken up two characters now...
And what happens when 50 plus CrAcK addicted (not the drug) people all making character journals, signing up for AOL IM? Stuff like this:

And much other hilarity in the way of Amazon lists, flame wars of epic perportions (the one going on between Megs and Screamer right now is destroying AIM chat and journals LULZ), pictures, and other craziness.

In other news, I nearly got demoted today at work. Go me. A first for me in my work history. I chalk it up to being new, having little direction, and having never done this sort of thing before. That and I can' seem to pull people out of my ass at will. Go figure.
Needless to say, I kept my current job--for now.
I should win a prize for "the most fucked up year".

Sometimes I am too, I've never played a game like this before. It's a Role Playing "game". Totally and completely impromptu. And totally and completely full of crack (crack=deliberate nonsense). There's no real plot other than whatever insanity someone manages to come up with.
Over on Livejournal, someone from the Transformer 2007 community made a journal for Bonecrusher as a joke:

Then they linked the journal to the community for a laugh. But suddenly, other people started making journals for characters. Suddenly it became an RP, everyone friending each other, everyone joining AIM to chat, an entire community journal was made...*laughs*
It's hilarious. Sometimes I'll not be playing, and bust up laughing at something someone has posted or said in chat a day or two earlier. There's a lot of in jokes no one would understand now...
For example, I play Megs (Megatron). Earlier in the game, I made him an Amazon.com list with nothing but Optimus Prime items and a few books on war. There was a major You Tube music video battle. An emote war from hell. A lolzcat virus outbreak. Right now, the journals and chat are being over run by a massive flame war between Megs (me) and Starscream:
"Do you not understand the concept of 'disguise?' Or maybe it's because I'm sure you know the only thing big enough to scan your fat aft into is an Airbus A380!" One of many posts from Screamer to Megs...it got pretty ugly after that comment...
That's the sort of stupid that goes on almost daily. There's so many in jokes now that it's hard to explain. It's just funny...or maybe I've lost my mind. LOL
