President Bush, an American President or a dictator in training?
"President Bush has quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he took office, asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress when it conflicts with his interpretation of the Constitution."
I'm proud to say I didn't vote for this asshole.
Posted by Zoso at May 7, 2007 07:39 AMNo shit.
I knew he was going to be a whack job before he even became president - why it evaded everyone else I don't know! It seemed pretty apparent to me!
I've come to the conclusion that this "No Child Left Behind" BS that is ruining our schools is actually a clever ploy to make americans even stupider than they were before so people like him can get away with this shit.
It pains me to suggest he's clever - but perhaps just clever-er than the average american isn't say much anymore.
Posted by: Sarah at May 7, 2007 08:03 AMLOL, there's got to be some level of cleverness for a moron like him to get himself elected. I personally like to blame it on the religious right. He appealed to them, and unfortunatly for us, there's a whole swath of needy people in this country who can't think for themselves without a priest or pastor telling them what is right or wrong. Along comes Bush, the First Modern Crusader, and all of them get stars in their eyes while the rest of the country headdesks until we're dead.
I do have to give him credit though. He managed to piss off his sheep to the point they've started second guessing him. Too bad it's too late and the damage is done.
Posted by: Zoso at May 7, 2007 08:35 AMWhat really pisses me off is that those sheep are a very small minority. Where were the rest of us? *Shakes head*
It's karma.
