I really didn't give it much thought until I got home. Doesn't the '06' in 2006 sort of throw things off anyway? I mean it's really only 6/6/06, not 6/6/6 right?
And who cares anyway. If I remember right the entire 666 thing is a wild allegory that actually refers to Nero. When written in Hebrew, the numerical value of Nero's name adds up to 666---a code, since they didn't dare speak badly about him publicly. For those who aren't familar with Nero and his opinion of Christians, I suggest doing a bit of reading. You'll soon understand why they'd think a man like him was the Anti-Christ.

I dunno, I read it on wikipedia, though, so could be inaccurate (apparently evidence from a fragment of papyrus was found, citing that it was originally 616)

Would 616 be the sixth of January or the 1st of June?

Yeah, I'd heard about the 616 thing too. I was too tired to write a long post about all the possiblities. Interesting how things get twisted around as time goes on, isn't it?

Somehow, I woke up and had it in my head that it was Halloween (no drugs before bed, kids! :p). I didn't have any bad experiences to speak of, though. Everyone was all, "Oh yeah, aren't we supposed to get bombed today or some shit?" I figured we were at a code yellow or something, but I went out regardless.
