LMAO!!
Someone is from the shallow end of the gene pool.
Posted by: sarah at September 28, 2005 01:07 PMHa hahaha! No shit! I sent it to you via e-mail! I'm home sick from work today....I have waaay to much time on my hands...
Posted by: Zoso at September 28, 2005 01:11 PMLuck you.
I'm stressed out. Do you ever feel like you just can't catch a break? :o(
I gave up such illustrious dreams long ago. I've resign my fate to the black cloud that follows me around...
Posted by: Zoso at September 28, 2005 04:56 PM I named my little black cloud Bob. He's my bestest friend in the whole wide world!
I understand where both of you are coming from. Between school, work, and home I just can't seem to find the time to relax and write. It's actually starting to grate on my nerves a bit you know.
Sweet banner by the way. My favorite one yet!
Thanks! I couldn't resist!
Posted by: Zoso at September 28, 2005 08:09 PMBwahahahahahaha! And I thought my lack of depth perception was bad!
Posted by: DR at September 29, 2005 02:31 AMWhere do you find this stuff? I don't have much free time either, so I know where you guys are coming from. You'd think, being in college and all, that I'd have lots of free time, but me being a dumbass, decided to take 18 credit hours. That was fucking stupid. *sigh* At least I can read about Zoso's shitty days and laugh until I cry. Man, I have no time, but I do not have to put up with a boss, vaccuum cleaner, nor the "toilet from hell." I take my hat off to you Zoso.
Posted by: Mia Hoshifaia at October 2, 2005 09:08 PM*bows* Thank-yee! Thank-yee!
I did my college time. I know how it goes, and I feel your pain! One quarter I thought I'd be smart and take an 'overload' of credits. I had 24. On top of that, I was working graveyard shifts and taking care of a baby. I'm glad those years are gone. Really...really...really glad.
Alas, my college degrees have me staring down evil toilets and putting together vacuum cleaners...Where the hell did I go wrong!? Not only that, I've developed a nervous twitch in my eye (two actually, one in each eye), thanks to my stupid job...
*sigh*
Posted by: Zoso at October 3, 2005 08:37 PMYou went to college and you clean toilets and break vacuums? What the hell kinda job do you have? Man, it sounds like it sucks. What did you go to college for originally? There's no way I could clean toilets and vacuum for a living. I would turn into a psycho bitch. Everyone would hate me. The nervous twitch prolly is a sign saying "You need a vacation." *sigh* I need a vacation. It doesn't help that my school is kinda stupid. O.k. My English teacher is a chinese guy that doesn't speak English all too well himself. But, again, you still put up with more crap than I do. *Takes hat off to Zoso* So long as you continue to be sarcastic, I'll at least have one thing to look forward to. ^_^
Posted by: Mia Hoshifaia at October 5, 2005 08:31 PMHa ha! No, I don't vacuum or clean toilets for a living. God, I'd kill myself if I had to do that. However, on the occasion I have to clean up the office, I'm forced to pull that damnable beast out of the closet and use it. Someday, I'll talk about the printer that came straight from Satan's office...
Anyway,
I have several degrees in Agriculture, which I do use at my current job--just not as much as I thought I would and not in the aspect I thought I would. In truth, it's not a *bad* job (hell, I've been doing it for seven years). They pay me well, I get benefits, and all that jive. I even like most of the people I work with.
The fact that the company I work for is a huge corporation (nation wide), coupled with dumbass customers and sometimes equally dumbass fellow employees/regulations/policies/budgeting is enough to send a person running for the nearest ledge and doing a pancake boogie on the rocks below, given enough time on the job.
Thankfully, every November I get laid off for about two months. During this time, I relax, forget everything about work, and play lots of violent videogames. In the spring, I'm refreshed and the cycle starts all over again. If it wasn't for my little break, I'd go batshit insane.
School is stressful in its own right! You put up with a lot of shit too (I remember). Tests, idiot asshole teachers, the Admin. Office (oh god, did those people hate my guts), etc. Honestly, I'd almost rather deal with the stress from work than go though the crap college people deal with these days. At least with work, once I step outside the office, I'm done for the day (they don't pay me enough to worry on my own time). :P
Posted by: Zoso at October 5, 2005 10:14 PM*sigh* Yeah, college does suck most of the time. Since you had to put up with this shit too, I'll spare you the details. Thank God my roomate went home this weekend. Man, I've never heard someone whine so much in my entire life. But from the sounds of it I'll find whiners and idiots everywhere I go. Whether its at work, school, home, etc. Great... Kinda makes me wonder how stupid people haven't gotten weeded out of the gene pool. Isn't something like, oh I don't know, Natural Selection supposed to take care of that problem? Who would want to marry a stupid person. That would drive me nuts. Well, good luck with your idiots at work.
