Well, a brief run down of what's going on in the worlds of Bleach and Naruto.
Bleach is pretty simple. Ichigo has kicked Byakuya's ass, and the guy is still a friggen prick. It was nice to see him lose his cool for once though. Anyway, in chapter 168 a shit load of people are dead, thanks to Gin (probably). What the hell is that jerk-off up to anyway? Hitsugaya walks in and finds the 40 wisemen that make up the Soul Societies council have been murdered. But oddly, the blood is all dried so the kill wasn't recent. Which means that the sentance passed onto Rukia was a fake.
Kira walks in and Hitsugaya and Matsumoto give chase, trying to question him on who is responsible. He gives them no real answers, but tells Histugaya that Hinamori is no longer safe within the 10th divisions quarters. Hitsugaya starts to panic and leaves Kira to Matsumoto.
To make a long summary short...Kira has gone bonkers...thanks to Gin (probably) and has decided to kill Matsumoto. Apparently its "all part of the plan".
Meanwhile, Hinamori finds the chamber with all the dead guys and starts putting two and two together. Then Gin appears behind her.
My thoughts...someone ELSE is going to die next chapter....and it won't be the bad guys....
Naruto episode 123 has Lee riding to the rescue (for those of you who don't watch the raws). He keeps Kimimaro on his toes, drinks some sake he mistakes for medicine and starts to go all nutty. A funny episode, but I feel bad for Kimimaro. He really gets duped on showing off his skills...Oh well. Sasuke has come out of the bucket and Naruto gives chase. (I really hope he eventually runs into his brother and gets his ass whooped again)...Anyway, Shikamaru is having a tough time with flute girl, and Kiba is just barely staying alive.
Naruto Chapter 249 has Gaara and "yeah" boy squaring off. Gaara seems to hold the upper hand (being he's surrounded by sand), but "yeah" boy has a few tricks up his sleeve. He tries to blow up the village with his exploding clay crap, but Gaara makes a huge shield and protects it (much to the surprise of the people). Of course, "yeah" boy uses this opportunity to nearly blow up Gaara and capture him.
Oh shit.

Be prepared for fillers folks, or an abrupt ending to Naruto. The anime is catching up to the manga with amazing speed. Of course, this is pure speculation on my part, so don't leave any stupid messages crying about crap....(not that anyone would), but common sense dictates here....
