Hey, I'm glad that you finally took the plunge! I know you will like it. If you don't, my offer still stands to buy it. I could always use a new Mac in my stables LOL. Especially a badass iMac. Congrats and I will certainly be there to help you set it up. Did they tell you it would be there in 2 days? Usually 2 day shipping means that once they've got it all made and prepared it will ship. For instance, 2 day shipping from my company means a total turnaround of 3 business days and we have the most advanced fulfillment system in the world. Nevertheless I'm sure it will make it much quicker than had you placed it with regular shipping which was the mistake I made with my iBook back in the day LOL.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love your new iMac. There's a reason why so many people have little Apple stickers on the backs of their cars. Ever see a Windows logo there? Me neither. :)

Anyhow, I'm available to help answer questions or whatever. A lot of what you'll probably be doing is trying out new software left and right... For the most part that's actually safe to do on the Mac, but if you need any recommendations for stuff let me know.

As for putting a windows sticker on a car...that would be like putting a sticker on your car to show you breathe air! Everybody uses windows - even people who would rather not.

My computer will be here on Friday. It shipped this afternoon. So, J, will you be free this weekend? LOL

My copy of XP will be here Friday as well. So this weekend will be either fantastically good, or horribly disappointing.

So, is it there yet?
