That's like a flat-screen, right? Yeah, I'd LOVE to see a game running on one of those.

Hmmm...if you wait the prices will go down. But then again, that defeats the purpose of a splurge. I don't know much about the whole HD thing...

What makes them different?

High Definition TV. The picture quality is stunning. That's pretty much it. LOL It's actually amazing how much difference there is between Standard TV and HD TV. However, since I really don't watch a lot of 'regular' TV, I could care less about HD cable. But for DVDs and Games, it's pretty awesome.

I knew what the HD meant, but I guess never paid much attention to what the difference was. I've heard of HD radio too...

Anyhoo...I am holding out for the pries on plasmas to drop...they've gone down a lot so far. But I am aiming for a big one!

Sometimes you need to splurge. My new laptop came today. I am amazed how much better it is than my old one!
