That's too bad. Is it humid heat, or dry heat that's up there? Down here, it's the humidity that'll kill you, not the actual heat. You can't breath, plain and simple.
Posted by Gamma ID at July 20, 2006 08:50 PMIt's like stepping into an oven set on friggen BROIL. We have almost no humidity here...
Posted by Zoso at July 20, 2006 09:13 PMLOL! I can just see it now, the people stepping out and getting deep fried. Now all we need is some hot butter and we'll be in business! >:D
Posted by Gamma ID at July 21, 2006 05:27 AMGood news: The air conditioner decided to come on today. Yesterday we thought it was finally toast.
Bad news: It could stop again tomorrow, and that would really suck.
More bad news: Instead of this heat wave lasting until Monday, it's been pushed into Tuesday, possibly Wedensday.
Good news: Rite Aide has econo fans on sale.
Posted by Zoso at July 21, 2006 04:27 PMGreat news as well: I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to GEICO! Yaaaaaaaaaay!!!
Oho, plagiarism. Well, congrtulations on having a working a air conditioner again! Did you find the source of the problem? I remember the exact same thing happened to us not a long while back, and it turned out that the pipes were frozen from the ac being on constantly.
Well I am releived that it looks like it will be cooling down when I fly over to Pullman at the end of the week.
