Can't crack a joke at this one. ...Well, I can, but then I'd just be another ass :). That, and seeing as how college is in the very near future for me (art academy or regular old college, still deciding) this is one of the things that has been plaguing my mind for quite a while now. I suppose community college is the best way to go for the moment, get all the basics out of the way. Most likely I'll end up working for a year, saving up my money then look into full time college. Then again, I could always look into scholarships...Meh, no good killing myself over this now.
You gotta spend money to make money. I guess that's the philosophy behind these outrageous tuition prices.
In England, uni fees are really high too, not to mention the top-up fees and whatnot. You have to take out a student loan and spend years of your career (if you can get one, a lot of degrees over here are Mickey Mouse degrees) with smaller wages as you pay it back. =[
Glad I'm waiting a few years to decide if uni is for me and what degree I actually want to do AND whether it will be of any use to me. I can work properly in the mean time.

Yeah, but that philosophy is all sorts of screwy. I already spent friggen money on college. Hell, I got degrees, but NOW, those degrees aren't worth shit. *sigh* Gotta have a Bachelors. Next it's gonna be "gotta have a masters" or "gotta have a PHD". But the way I figure things is, by the time I get my Bachelors, my kid will be finishing up highschool, then I can go away to college too. *laughs*

I woke up this morning to my computer making all sort of strange noises (even though I turned it off last night) and now it doesn't work.
Can you believe that? My DVD player, the Playstation, my husband's laptop, and now my computer.... Gremlins.
It's a good thing I only have a week left and an 18 page research paper, and 8 page final to finish! *cries*
Posted by Sarah at July 18, 2006 10:50 AMHe he. You only pay $405?!!! I'm getting raped!! I think I figured it out to be something like $1000 or so per class. And this is during the summer for a 4 week class. *sigh* I wish that I could have gone to a community college. Damn, I'm going to be paying off student loans until I friggin retire...
