Comments: Death Note

So is Ryuk played by an actual actor in a costume, or is he computer generated?
The monologues in Death Note can get quite lengthy. I had to take a break after reading the second volume just to absorb all of the information. In fact, I'm still on that break (never got around to buying the rest). Still, who can't love this tale of twisted justice. Light is the epitome of the anti-hero, L is the coolest fictional eccentric genius I've ever come across in manga (the way he sits reminds me of gargoyle statues), and Ryuk is...Ryuk. Also, the art is beautiful, and story surprisingly gripping and original for a manga.

I got through the first couple volumes myself, then decided I'd rather read the summaries. *laughs*

Yeah, same here. Then I felt bad, like I had gas. Then it passed over five minutes later.

Once you get past the whole "mankini" thing, it's actually very practical, and you learn a whole wealth of new things. Like the fact that ZIGGY HAS MANBITS!!11ONE!! I'm sorry, I'm still not over that one.
Ah, only one more month to go, then I'll finally be able to conclude the greatest "saga" ever. At least, I hope the August release date is correct. After the Advent Children fiasco, I don't trust any release date until I see the commercials and promotions. Seriously. Oh, well at least I have the ending and epilogue saved to my comp. That should tide me over till then.

I finished reading this series online (but I still buy the books lol) I find that while it does get hard to folloe along, some major parts in it almost make it all worth while. Me personally, I was jumping for joy in the end. I really want to see the movie, and can't wait to watch it ^^ L is just too cool haha
