No kidding. It helps a lot if you don't 'hear' Japanese as well as you read it too. I love these shows. Utaban, Heyx3, Gakko e MAX, Doubutsu En, etc. They're like crack.

Ah well, I don't understand or read Japanese, but I did take a class but it was on hiragana not on katakana or kanji.
Anyways, this seems like a funny show. I want to watch it.
