Comments: A talk with Dad...

Heh - he's done that one to me, too (during political debates).

To be fair, I actually am ratjer intolerant - of intolerable things, actions and people. Anyone who simply accepts _anything_ has no conviction. I do think, though, that I'm able to confront those things without getting too huffy and overexcited. That's the problem with a lot of debate these days.

That's probably not too bad. The sooner he realizes that the world is full of people with drastically different ideas and beliefs, the better. There are far too many people in this world/country who are sheltered from dissenting opinions and ideas.

LOL

I'll send you an email. The whole thing is pretty funny now that I look back on it.

Hunter and I talked about the argument today. He was kinda mad at dad for talking bad about certain groups people. Actually, last night he jumped in and told dad it wasn't nice to judge people like that. It was pretty funny.

And Dad tried to make me feel guilty by saying Hunter will probably never go to church again because of my views on religion, but Hunter and I have already talked about it and he knows how I feel. He also knows that he's free to choose to go to church or not and that I don't care so long as he respects other peoples choices too.

He's a good boy and we have a very open relationship so he's never afraid to ask me any questions. Sadly, dad can't relate, since he's never bothered to have that kind of relationship with any of us, so he doesn't believe Hunter will be comfortable coming to me with questions.
