I hate doctors. My one has a really thick accent (Russian, I guess) and I can't understand a word he says. I have ear problems too, and I should really be going in to see him sometime soon (mine doesn't hurt though) but aaaargh. Crappy ears + thick accent = wtf. And I can't read his handwriting either. So, I actually can't communicate with my doctor.
I've bled from below my eye, so I guess it was okay for me not to go to the doctors about it (not that I needed to anyway, it was a cut).
Heh, doctors, eh? Hope you feel better.
Posted by DR at July 12, 2005 11:00 AMDoctors frustrate me. We pay them exorbent amounts for specialized expertise and they perscribe ibuprofen? I am horrible about pain though. I'm such a wimp. I run to the dr. anytime I have the slightest discomfort because when I don't I always wish I would have. Like a few months ago when I thought I would just let a sore throat and earache pass and it turned out to be a sinus infection that nearly killed me. I hate it when they prescribe like loads of shit though. I have to take this pill 3 times a day, that one twice a day, this one every two days, spray this shit up my nose, drop that in my eyes... at least I don't have one of those new-agey doctors though. My friend in Boise goes to an eastern-medicine dr. LIKE THE IDIOT SHE IS. Her Dr. prescribed her tea that smelled like a football lockerroom because she had a sore throat, and ... get this... didn't tell her to stop smoking... told her to switch to herbal cigarettes. Yeah. A month later she had a serious medical condition because she didn't go to a real Dr. in the first place and it progressed.
