I weep for your poor computer. While I have never experienced it, my family did...and it was also caused by downloading a single computer program.

I was at college when my family decided to switch from AOHell to another internet service provider. So they downloaded the free software from PeoplePC...and it crashed the computer. They couldn't fix it at all, so they had to get a new one.

The good part is that we ended up getting broadband. The bad part is that the computer has Windows XP. God, I hate Windows XP, as well as Microsoft...

Anyway, hope your computer can get up and running soon.

Hey, thanks for the concern! Ha ha! AOHell! That's too funny! I used them once and it took me over a year to cancel their service! LOL

It's still broken (I'm at work)...if I don't hear from the "fix it" people by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to give them a call and find out what the hold up is. I hope I don't have to buy a new one! I bought this one in August! That would really really suck! Worst case, I'm hoping, is I have to do a system reboot and lose all my stuff...*sigh* I'm wondering if I happened to pick up that virus that hit Animenation a couple weekends ago...There's a posting in the forums about it, though I find it strange that it would crash my Norton...*shrug* Oh well...live and learn I suppose...
